The Community area — groups, marketplace, and auctions — is closing. We're removing that functionality, but the Information & Links section will remain exactly where it is, since it continues to be actively used and referenced.
The social features were built with the hope of giving this hobby a dedicated space of its own, separate from the usual social media groups. Despite that effort, engagement never reached a level that justified keeping it running.
The Information & Links section, by contrast, has seen consistent use — we know there's room to improve it, and we intend to, but it's staying in place for anyone who finds it useful.
This wasn't an easy decision. A lot of time and care went into building this area, and we're grateful to everyone who took part in it.
